Andrea Carlson Exhibition
The National Museum of the American Indian (George Gustav Heye Center)
This event has ended.
Minnesota-based artist Andrea Carlson (Anishinaabe/European) creates works that reflect cultural narratives and stories while offering a sharp commentary on museums, collections, and contemporary storytelling. Her works on paper have a metaphoric and literal biting edge, with sharp lines and layered meanings. This exhibition features more than twenty of Carlson's works, including new and large-scale pieces.
