Eddie Adams "Vietnam"
Umbrage Gallery
This event has ended.
This extraordinary new book and exhibition, Eddie Adams: Vietnam is a moving testament to America's involvement in Vietnam. But it's also about what it takes to be an award-winning photographer, how to cover a story, and the best way to show what day to day reality in a war zone is like. The book features his now-iconic 1968 Pulitzer-prize winning photo of a Vietcong prisoner being shot execution-style on a Saigon street. This shot, along with hundreds of other captivating photos, highlights the paradox of “the beauty of photographs of something as terrible as war.”
