This event has ended.

Seongming Ahn's work combines classical geometric forms with her interests on architectural structures.
The use of the walls and the floor simultaneously in these installations transforms regular two-dimensional surfaces
into a "hyper-dimensional" space, while resorting to the idea of emptiness in Asian philosophy.
The installations put forth an interaction with the spectator,
in which changes of perspective and point of view reveal previously inexistent spaces.

According to the artists herself the purpose is "to evoke a new way of looking at the space around us, by challenging our conventional uses of perspective. Through these works I suggest people to look at our selves and our world from multiple perspectives. Seeing a problem in different ways can simply be a turning point to solve it."
