An exhibition of some of Avedon's legendary fashion photographs and "In Memory of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Comfort: A Fable in 24 episodes," a shocking departure in style for Avedon, which was published in the November 1995 issue of The New Yorker magazine. Simultaneously macabre and funny, the series features the model Nadja Auermann as Mrs. Comfort and a lively skeleton as Mr. Comfort.
