Pioneers of Change will take place for two weekends in September on Governors Island. Renny Ramakers, founder of Droog, has curated an event devoted to showcasing Dutch design, fashion and architecture. Ramakers has chosen to focus on the quality of life in this exhibition, with ideas surrounding “space, fresh air, respect, care, silence, slowness and time.” The true luxuries for any one living in Manhattan.
