This event has ended.

"Weak Hydrogen Bond" features the release of "Men + Women" (2009) a new sculptural suite by Richard Tuttle. This suite of four works, produced in collaboration with artistic director Paul Wong, reflects Tuttle’s intimate investigation of how paper, from wet pulp to substance, informs an artist’s way of working in the medium. Tuttle formed wet paper into brightly pigmented “sandcastles” which were then altered by the artist using a variety of actions, resulting in almost playful creations. The works are designed to reflect the cardinal points and classic elements, and are individually subtitled East/Fire, West/Water, South/Earth and North/Air.
