Following on the success of his book Paris in Boston, released at PaulaBarr chelsea in December 2008, PaulaBarr Chelsea presents Jack Dzamba’s “Paris in New York Boston and Paris,” an exhibit of fine art black and white photography.

In a review of Paris in Boston, James Concannon of the Boston Globe said: "Paris, Hemingway wrote, is a ‘moveable feast’ that stays with you no matter where you go. Everywhere [photographer Jack Dzamba] looked, he saw intimations of Paris: the Cabot Building is reminiscent of Place des Voges, Genzyme headquarters at night recalls Notre Dame, and myriad hotels, restaurants and shops exude an unmistakable French flair. This book, with its moody black-and-white photographs of buildings and scenes, makes Dzamba's case for the link between the two great cities."

“Jack has now turned his attention to New York City and has begun to seek out those areas of this great city that also remind him of Paris”, said gallery owner Paula Barr. “This is very much a work in progress and hopefully will be his next book”. Guests will be invited to contribute their ideas of those places in New York that evoke the look and feel of Paris. Included in the exhibit will be Jack’s images of Paris including the award winning Remembrance/ A la Recherché and those from Paris in Boston.
