Edward Steichen "1915-1923"
Howard Greenberg Gallery
This event has ended.
In the complex years following World War I, Edward Steichen broke with many of the traditions that had characterized photography in the early part of the 20th century. This deeply personal and experimental phase of his career resulted in the creation of wondrously inventive works of art-- the most innovative were those in which he explored the potential of color.
