"Old-Noritake: Masterpieces of Nippon Porcelain" Exhibition

Featuring additional pieces from the Kakei Collection, recently on display in the previous exhibition, "Old Noritake: Beauty Bridging East & West." Taking its name from Noritake Company, Old Noritake is the genre of Western-style porcelain tableware produced from the late 19th Century until the end of World War II. At the "Old Noritake" exhibit, about 80 items are displayed including flower vases, dinnerware, pitchers, porcelain figures, and tea cups and saucers dating from the time of the Meiji restoration to the late 1920's.
