The Phatory LLC announces its first store-front artist-in-residency program with the premier screening of Trick-or-Treat by Antonio Ferrara starting Friday, October 30th through Sunday, November 1st, from 7:30 - 10:00.

Antonio Ferrera's video and sound meditation on jack o' lanterns is installed in the gallery's front window for the weekend with the Holloween in mind. Though this project is for the holiday, one can expect to see other visual and audio media presentations by Ferrera in the gallery's storefront on an ongoing bases. Announcements will be released as his projects are completed through January 2010.

Antonio Ferrera is an award winning independent producer/director who is based in NYC. His list of film works include The Gates - the 2008 Peabody Award winning documentary which about Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Central Park installation. Voices of Cabrini - a documentary that follows the re-development of Chicago's Cabrini Green housing project and chronicles the ensuing effects of displacement on the African-American community as residents become uprooted from their homes and community. With The Filmmaker - a film featuring half-hour portraits of Robert Duvall, Jane Campion, Martin Scorsese, and Wes Anderson for the IFC channel which Ferrera. Before I Leave - a ten-minute monologue on remembrance, memory, and death produced for the Bill Moyers' NOW television show. It's an Adventure - a documentary about director Wes Anderson and Bill Murray shot in Rome during Wes Anderson's filming of A Life Aquatic. And, Masada:Live at Tonic - 1999 a documentary that captures the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist John Zorn in concert.
