"Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary" Symposium

An exciting inquiry into the materials, processes, and concepts behind
the artwork in the exhibition "Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary" and
is organized in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Craft
(Portland, OR) which presented a parallel exhibition, "MANUF(r)ACTURED:
The Conspicious Transformation of Everyday Objects." Participants
include MAD Chief Curator David Revere McFadden, Curator Lowery Stokes
Sims, Executive Director Holly Hotchner, and the Museum of
Contemporary Craft (Portland, OR) Curator Namita Gupta Wiggers,
MANUF(r)ACTURED Curators Mara Skov Holt and Steven Holt Skov, along
with artists Boris Bally, Sonya Clark, and Devorah Sperber.
