Part of Performa 09, “3 Day Weekend” is both a performance and material for a live video shoot. The Weekend will unfold as a series of interactions built over the course of three days with a group of people who were chosen through an open application process. The actions will be physical, dance related, mostly unrehearsed and therefore unpredictable. Oliver Herring will both “direct” the actions and film the footage.
