Aerin Minjin Park "Different Point of View"

poster for Aerin Minjin Park "Different Point of View"

This event has ended.

It is inspired by old architecture in Korea, what we called "Geewa", and made in different fabric such as velvet, silk, and wool. Different textures give different shines to the garment that it shows different looks from different angles.

My intention is to blend the nostalgia for the past with material of modern living beneath sculptural fashion. I have endeavored to explore the geometric, abstract, and architectural aspects of fashion. It can be viewed as a simply old traditional garment (Han-Bock); it could be interpreted as a decorative craft.
