This event has ended.

Ted Zourntos’ paintings are at once seductively familiar and aggressively unsettling. One can almost identify a waterfall or horizon but that image has been abstracted and annihilated with what appears to be reckless abandon but in fact is exquisitely crafted oil, enamel, acrylic and silicone. They are what the artist refers to as “intuitive landscapes – not of a specific place conjured through memory or observation, but rather a psychological ecosystem born of imagination and informed directly by the current condition of environmental uncertainty.”
