This event has ended.

On rare occasions an artist’s work crosses the collective conscience that is absolutely stunning through its open application of color and material choice. It is the fundamental creation of beauty and eloquence. It is the work that has always defined the best in human capability and imagination.

This is the work of Batís Campillo.

In a world consumed with the desire for more, Campillo offers a reflective pool of clarity to our thinking and ruptured souls. Providing a reprieve from the madness of over analytical chaos, rage and suspense and an opportunity to be seduced by the wonder of our own heartbeats, thoughts and dreams.

Like many great artists there is a hallmark in her use of structure and form to convey meaning beyond everyday usage. These shapes are designed to communicate profound historical and spiritual meaning.
In her “de Lau series” Campos, a licensed pilot, afforded the viewer an awe inspiring insight into the world she views sliding in and out of the clouds at 10,000 plus feet. Then having challenged space she took on the only natural major contender left… TIME

As part of her the New York art season opening exhibition at Monkdogz Urban Art Campillo has created a series of mixed media works. Paintings infused into plexi glass sculptures called “The Seven Days of the Week”, each one of these powerful works separates, then stops time on a 24 hour cycle through the use of brilliant color and material texture.
