Steve Robinson and Peter Rostovsky present Slow Fade, a looping slideshow and discussion about different structures of landscape.
These structures, from painting and photography on, mutate through contemporary forms such as image searching, digital photography, and Hollywood blockbusters. The cascade of images attempts to describe several of these modes from the Sublime Landscape, to Cartographic Landscapes, Landscape as Mental or Inner Space, Gendered Landscapes, Folkloric or Nostalgic Landscape, and Unearthly (transcendental)
Landscape. As the title indicates, each slide will fade, slowly, into the next.
