This event has ended.

Joseph A. Russo, M.D., is a native New Yorker and practicing psychiatrist in Westport, CT. His experience with "transference" becomes an art form through his sculpture in his first New York one man show, "The Dark Side of Nature"-Little Found Worlds.

Joseph sculpts elaborately detailed representations of urban, waterfront, and wilderness settings. One is instinctually drawn into wanting to occupy these complex, dark and brooding miniature worlds. Dr. Russo is said to possess the "rare ability to transform the absent affectations of weathered wood and natural materials into vast emotional realms." One may refer to his art as "Transference Art."
