This event has ended.

Seitaro Kuroda has been one of the most influential artists of modern Japan since the late ‘60s. He is an innovator and his activities are genuinely border-less. Kuroda collaborates with musicians and artists from all over the world such as Bill Laswell, John Zorn, Nobuyoshi Araki, Tadao Ando, Toshinori Kondo, Kim Dok Su, Paul Hampton, and Tian Jiang in performances he calls "Live Painting." Kuroda improvises with rhythm and sound, creates a truly unique avant-guard art form. Since the mid ‘90s he started a renowned "War Tales" project which won a Peabody Award and that lead him to the creation of Pikadon Project. Experience his art space POINT 黒田征太郎 at hpgrp gallery in New York.
