This event has ended.

Attitudes and Magnitude features portraiture in the form of paintings and linocuts. Using her signature style of pressed powdered paints, Skoczek's "Babes" as she calls them are chock full of panache in their iridescent splendor. With their transfixing gazes, these women stand strong adorned by the threads they wear, yet recalled by the attitude they emanate. Juxtaposed with these fashionistas are a series of linocuts where the artist pays homage to the powerful matriarchs of the art world including Louise Bourgeois, Louise Nevelson, Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keefe, and Pat Oleszko. Attitudes and Magnitude contrasts the anonymity of these young brazen female figures with the identifiable clout of these established personas tying them together with the commanding presence each one resonates.
