This event has ended.

The impetus behind Frango Rock! came as a result of numerous travel
excursions between Mike Vargas and Tat Ho Yee. Both had traveled and
worked together in Brazil and Mexico for a filmmaking endeavor. But it
wasn't until Tat returned from a personal trip from India—where he
spend 30 days photographing—that Mike became inspired to dig through
his personal archives of still photography. Soon thereafter they began
sharing their work with each other, and now, the general public.

Frango Rock! is a visual journey of frozen moments spanning several
continents and diverse subject matters which include everything
between public body modifications in the streets of India to Puerto
Rican women dancing vividly in the streets of El Barrio.
