This event has ended.

A realist painter who draws inspiration from Nature, Kim Eng Yeo seeks its essence in her landscape paintings to foster a keener appreciation of a popular subject - beyond decoration to the poetic and evocative. Ranging from small sketches to larger works, Yeo's watercolors depict seasonal scenes from several series painted in New York and Vermont - autumn in Jamaica Bay and Vermont, winter, spring and summer in Vermont . Viewers may also be inspired by meditative scenes of birds and fish in their environments in winter and late summer/early fall.

Kim Eng Yeo, whose watercolors are personal expressions of her encounters with Nature, previously showed her noted large garden paintings and magnified floral images at the SFtA Gallery Space. She has studios in Flushing, New York and in Vermont and has exhibited her watercolor paintings in solo and group shows in New York City, Thailand and her native Singapore. Yeo's paintings are also in corporate and private collections.
