+Housing focuses on eight current examples which illustrate this phenomenon: public uses combined with, and often financed by housing. The essential urban institutions – parks, schools, places of worship, museums, and hospitals – are being combined with residential developments, fusing diverse typologies and increasing density. The Beekman Tower and the Renaissance Complex/ Abyssinian Baptist Church will be featured in the discussion, with speakers that include Craig Webb (Gehry Partners), Susi Yu (Forest City Ratner Companies), Max Bond, Davis Brody Bond Aedas, Sheena Wright, and James McCullar, FAIA.
