The Lower East Side Printshop celebrates its 40 years by presenting “The Future Must Be Sweet,” a major retrospective exhibition curated by Marilyn S. Kushner, Curator and Head, Department of Prints, Photographs and Architectural Collections at the New-York Historical Society. Kushner traces the Printshop’s path in the context of recent history, and represents the past four decades with artworks she has selected with utmost care and expertise from the Printshop’s permanent collection.
