Roger Jazilek "The Club Paintings" will feature eight paintings from an ongoing series made of cut paper and paint mounted on board, each measuring 18 x 12 inches. The composition of each is based on the club form, mirrored and symmetrical. Through variations in color, paint marks and shapes, Jazilek explores the infinite possibilities within a defined and repetitive structure. Jazilek was educated at the Chelsea College of Art in London and has lived in New York since 1980.
