This event has ended.

While, at a first glance, the formal aspects of the works appear standing in the tradition of Abstract Expressionism and OP-Art, “Interference” reveals quickly that all three artists have taken a route that opposes those traditional ideas of self-expression and retinal effect games. Instead of the free flow of directed compositions or stream of consciousness technique, they employ strategies to keep their minds unbiased vis-à-vis ‘intuitively generated’ structures of abstract compositions. As a result, the idiosyncratic works of oil, acrylic and pencil on canvas and panel bring about oscillating fields that tantalizingly unsettle.
