This event has ended.

Sculptor Minsook Park's latest installation addresses the basic issue of transport which is often a significant hurdle, a physical burden, to the artist. The artist states, "If a sculpture is excessively large in its format and extremely massive in its weight, it is difficult to move and install. In oversea shows, such sculptural elements may become a heavy burden for sculptors. So, I wish to be free from the physical things sculpture. I want to move away from sculptural restrictions such as physical properties, methods, scale, and weight. I want to make sculptures that are movable and can be easily installed by myself. I hope to do work where the physical conditions and environment are no longer burdensome." The exhibition features 30 photographs of objects found and arranged, printed on glass and re-photographed.
