In his US gallery solo debut, Italian artist Eugenio Percossi evokes vintage black & white photographs with an installation of a bedroom set where everything from the furniture, wall decoration, carpeting, and bed to the paintings, knick-knacks, books, and flowers is executed in shades of gray, as if old, frozen, and forgotten. While fully furnished in every detail, Percossi’s room is empty but for the ghosts and memories that seem to haunt it and those who enter.
