"The Etchings of Giorgio Morandi" Exhibition

The first exhibition in the gallery's history to focus exclusively on Giorgio Morandi's (1890 – 1964) graphic work will feature twenty-five rare etchings. This comprehensive exhibition, curated by Janet Abramowicz, will highlight three areas of Morandi's work: early etchings, 1912–1921; urban sites and landscapes, 1924–1936; and still lifes, 1915–1961. "The Etchings of Giorgio Morandi" will run concurrently with The Metropolitan Museum of Art's comprehensive survey, "Giorgio Morandi, 1890–1964," which includes paintings, drawings, watercolors and etchings.
