"Mythic Female" is an exhibition that identifies female portraits as iconic images of counterculture. The show chiefly illustrates females who oppose to those of the social mainstream of the day, engaged in Bohemianism, popism and daily life. This narrates new mythic female epic for who have been in the shadow of major masculine culture as the minority. The exhibition brings diverse contemporary artists from an international to multi-generational group. Curated by Hoon Jung, Director of Gallery Satori, the show includes around forty works.
