A New York based painter and designer, Deborah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan . Her versatility and intuitive sense of design often convey an atmospheric world of landscapes whose mysterious textures are both impassioned and engaging. She currently resides and paints in Martha's Vineyard and Nyack , New York .
I believe the universe around us can be viewed through subtle and abstract images. The sea can never really be captured, merely admired. I can only attempt to create an interpretation of its breadth by stripping down its physical world to the most basic elements of color, light and texture. -Deborah Ragasto
