Since its establishment in 1947, WAA has supported creative activity of women artists and encouraged young talented women artists in Japan by providing an equal opportunity to exhibit their artworks. Ms. Kazuko Irie, who is one of leading artists of WAA, is accredited as a representative of this exhibition. The Nippon Gallery will exhibit more than 50 artworks from 25 members of WAA including her works. Ms. Kazuko Irie has born in 1916 and her painting career has spanned 70 years.
