80 Washington Square East Galleries showcases works created by its own singularly talented and vital community of MFA Studio Art thesis candidates in the Department of Art and Art Professions. The exhibitions are richly varied with an intriguing and eclectic range of media. The students shown here are artists whose rapidly developing careers will soon encompass both local and international art worlds. They are a new generation of emerging artists who earnestly desire to share their creative vision with us--their work is fresh and challenging, defying boundary and category.
