The exhibition includes a series of photos documenting the re-appearance of Carmen, the part-car, part-human amalgamation (now embodied by Mosher); Carmen’s Blueprint, a wall drawing; and a floor installation titled Pull Over, Zero to Living Room, comprised of 16 carpet tiles painted with traffic patterns—a perfect and beautiful grid that leaves no room for circulation.

The show also includes Automotive Stories, an ongoing project in which Mosher publishes small ads containing her short stories in the auto section of different newspapers. Four of these will be on view at the gallery together with two of her drawings on vellum. Both cruel and naïve, Kirsten’s work is an insight into the urban sprawl. Using the style of cartoons to represent residential areas, traffic islands, parking lots, pavements, zebra crossings, and road signs, Mosher presents the partly chaotic partly over-regimented urban space with a fine sense of humor.
