"re:CYCLE" Exhibiton
This event has ended.
At FusionArts Museum
Media: Sculpture, Installation
Recycling is the third of the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. To recycle means to take a product or material at the end of its useful life and turn it into a usable raw material to create another product. In this case, that created product is multidisciplinary (or fusion) art.
Re:CYCLE is a group exhibit which gives a whimsical nod to the Green Movement’s emphasis on recycling. Each artwork was created with the detritus of a cycle - motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle or scooter, a play on the show’s title and subject.
This exhibit was made possible by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency and private donations.
