A multidisciplinary artist, Alan Bur Johnson creates installations, photographic assemblages, prints and drawings, which communicate body empathy. His delicate work explores corporeal concerns regarding
physicality, limitations, loss and desire. By incorporating transparencies, found materials and dissection pins, Johnson produces biologically referenced yet abstracted imagery which conveys an atmosphere of movement, examination and contemplation. The delicacy of his work reminds the viewer that all humans are susceptible and ethereal.
